Field Trips

Learning in Action!

At Mead Hall we take learning out of the classroom and into the community. From our youngest preschoolers to our upper school seniors, field trips are an essential part of the Mead Hall educational experience. Whether exploring and experimenting in nature, touring museums, businesses, and universities, or serving others in our community, each trip is carefully designed to support and expand classroom learning.
In addition to local day trips, students in fourth – eighth grades look forward to overnight trips to Barrier Island, Charleston, Camp Canaan, Williamsburg, and Washington, DC. Students in upper school visit nearby universities as well as participate in overnight leadership and team building adventures in North and South Carolina.
