Extended Care
Please note that we have changed the closing time of after-school care to 5:30 pm this year.
The Mead Hall Extended Care Program provides before and after-school care for Mead Hall students on the days that school is in session. Morning care is housed in the gym at the St. Thaddeus Campus (STC) and in the cafeteria at the Aiken Prep Campus (APC). Afternoon care is housed in the Greenville Street Building at the St. Thaddeus Campus (STC) and in the Extended Care Building at the Aiken Prep Campus (APC).
Students on the St. Thaddeus Campus will have an afternoon snack, creative activities, and indoor and outdoor games. Students will also be provided with an ordered, quiet space, for study hall for 30-45 minutes each day, with adequate materials provided. Homework time is for independent practice, with no tutoring or checking of homework provided.
Extended care hours are as follows:
Morning:
St. Thaddeus Campus: 7:00 a.m. until 7:50 a.m.
Aiken Prep Campus: 7:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. (8:00 – 8:15 a.m. will NOT be billed)
Afternoon:
St. Thaddeus Campus: PS-K: 2:20 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. / 1st-4th: 2:50 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Aiken Prep Campus: 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Fee Structure:
Please remember that Extended Care closes promptly at 5:30 p.m. There will be a $15 charge per quarter hour or any fraction thereof after 5:30 p.m. To register for afternoon extended care on the St. Thaddeus Campus please click the link below. STC (grades PS-4) Morning Care begins on the second day of school and Afternoon Extended Care begins on the Monday after the first two days of school.

call the office by 1:30 PM.
