Goal 1: Establish a Board Facilities Committee that will review the Master Campus Facility Plan on an annual basis.
Goal 2: Increase the facilities budget to address maintenance and expansion.

Goal 3: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial development plan to include the Annual Fund, Capital Campaign, Mead Hall Endowment and specific needs.
Goal 4: Advance school community involvement by building stronger relationships with parents and alumni.

A Message from the Head of School on Strategic Planning and Accreditation

Mead Hall is the only school in Aiken accredited by Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS). Self-reflection is a major component in re-accreditation, which we earned again in 2023. The Mead Hall Strategic Plan, an outgrowth of the self-study for re-accreditation, resulted in the strategic goals for the next five years of the school life. This process is essential in providing a thorough reflection on our mission and areas for improvement. It both confirms our educational and institutional excellence, while guiding us as we strive to improve and thrive. I am excited about the potential of our school Mead Hall, and I am looking forward to our work to move the school from strength to strength in the years to come, so that our students and community may be richly blessed.
