Mead Hall Uniform Guidelines

All Mead Hall students are expected to come to school neatly groomed and dressed in a school uniform. The basic uniform consists of a red or white collared top and khaki bottoms with optional red sweatshirt, sweater, sweater vest, cardigan, or plaid items as outlined below. (For field trips, the red shirt with logo and the khaki pants, shorts, or skirts are required.)

White tops and khaki items may be purchased from any source. All red, logo items must be purchased through Lands’ End to ensure consistency of color. Mead Hall’s Preferred School Number with Lands’ End is: 9000-8396-5. Lands’ End will donate 3% of the total uniform purchase to our school.

Mead Hall Dress Code

All dresses, skirts, and shorts must be of fingertip length or longer.

Hats/caps or other head covering will not be worn inside.

Shoes must be worn at all times and should be suitable for running at P.E. and recess. Flip-flops and backless shoes are inappropriate for school.

Shirts must be tucked in.

Make-up and jewelry must be appropriate for school and not be of a disruptive nature.

Hairstyles should be neat, clean, and appropriate for school. Unnatural styles or colors will not be allowed. Boys’ hairstyles should be worn above the eyebrows and nape of the neck.

Outerwear such as coats, jackets, etc. are unrestricted and are of the parents’/students’ choice.

All clothing should be unadorned except for the Mead Hall Logo.

Field Trip Uniform

In warm weather, students will wear the red, short-sleeved, Mead Hall logo shirt with collar, and khaki shorts, pants, skirt, or jumper. In cool weather, a red long-sleeved, Mead Hall logo shirt, sweater, or sweatshirt should be worn with khaki short, pants, skirt, or jumper.
