Advancement

Sargent Ashby & Kendall | Advancement
Advancement Office
The primary responsibility of the Advancement Office is to provide financial support for Mead Hall School. The Office of Advancement is responsible for all fundraising for the school, including Annual Fund, Evening of Dinner & Jazz, Scholarship Funds, Endowment Donations, and Planned Giving. The Office of Advancement is also responsible for the promotion of the school through marketing and community relations.

Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is a partnership in which your commitment to the school community is felt tangibly in our classrooms, and in the many educational opportunities that define the “Mead Hall Experience.” Annual giving is designed to offset annual expenses and serves as a tuition subsidy, in keeping with the Mead Hall School Board’s commitment to keep tuition at an affordable level.

Annual Fund dollars are used wherever the educational need or opportunity is greatest. Your gift may help to support library resources, computer software, athletic equipment, foreign language resources, faculty development, as well as materials for art and music. All of these necessities, even the seemingly mundane, are part of the total package for an excellent educational experience.

The Annual Fund is also an important way of measuring the commitment of the Mead Hall community. In fact, when foundations and corporations are approached for grant monies, they often request annual giving levels of participation by all constituents of the school, including parents, grandparents, alumni, and the community.

Some donors contribute a great deal but many contribute smaller amounts on a regular basis, each according to his or her means. Your gift to the Annual Fund will definitely make a difference.

The Mead Hall Annual Fund Campaign begins in the fall of the year and continues through June 30th of the following year. Our fiscal year is from July1-June 30. If you would like your donation to be credited to the current year for tax purposes; the donation must be received by December 31.
