Open House: Friday, January 26, 9:00am-2:00pm (drop-in)

Admissions Night: Thursday, February 1, 7:00pm

We are eager to open our doors and invite prospective families to come see our teachers and students in their element! Current families are welcome to join us, and we especially encourage you to bring a friend or neighbor who would enjoy learning more about Mead Hall.

For those unable to join us during the school day, we will also provide an admissions information night the following Thursday. Join us in the St. Thaddeus Campus cafeteria where faculty and staff members will answer questions about the admissions process and talk about Mead Hall's programs..

The $40 application fee will be waived for those who attend either event and submit an application!

For more information contact Felicia Pontoo at 803-644-1122 or fpontoo@meadhallschool.org.

529 Plan Forum

529 Pigs | Mead Hall

St. Thaddeus Campus Cafeteria

With the December 2017 tax reform legislation, families may now use 529 plans to pay tuition for grades 5K-12.

529 plans previously allowed taxpayers to begin saving pre-tax dollars for college expenses before a child actually began college. Growth in the funds was tax-free. The expansion of these plans will now allow significant tax savings for primary and secondary educational expenses.

Please mark your calendars! On February 22, Mead Hall will offer an information session on 529 plans. We will bring together a panel of experts to answer questions about how to take advantage of these education savings accounts.

Claudia Adams - local CPA and treasurer of the Mead Hall board of trustees
Leland Adams - a financial planner with Merrill Lynch; brings knowledge of Future Scholar, South Carolina's 529 Savings Plan
Dianne Goodson - Mead Hall's financial manager
Renee Reid - CPA with Serotta Maddocks Evans and Mead Hall alumna parent

Please RSVP to meadhall@meadhallschool.org so we can estimate attendance and choose a meeting location. The event is free and open to the public.
