Mead Hall Athletics
At Mead Hall, the purpose of the athletic program is to foster growth in physical and athletic skills while teaching the value of personal discipline, character, and commitment.
Students in grades 5 - 12 are eligible to participate on athletic teams at Mead Hall, and girls in lower school and middle school may join the pom squad. As members of the Panther squads, student-athletes develop athletic skills, compete with area schools, and represent their own school with good sportsmanship. Mead Hall participates in the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League in soccer, cross-country, boys' basketball, girls' basketball, golf, track and field, and tennis. Mead Hall is also a member of the South Carolina Independent School Association; middle and upper school students may participate in volleyball, soccer, basketball, golf, cross country and tennis through SCISA athletics.
Before students participate in team practices for Mead Hall, they must have three documents on file in the school office.
- Proof of sports physical within the previous year
- A SCISA participation form
- A SCISA Warning of Inherent Risk Form
